A critical healthcare organization known for its emergency response and medical services, relies on a robust and secure network infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted operations. However, it was facing significant challenges due to aging network equipment that has reached its end-of-life stage, as well as frequent hardware failures. These issues result in network inefficiencies, security vulnerabilities, and scalability limitations, which negatively impact critical healthcare communications and overall operational efficiency.
To address the challenges of modernising network infrastructure, ROX Hi-Tech implemented a structured migration strategy and risk mitigation plan to upgrade legacy systems. The initiative replaced the Sophos XG310 with the advanced FortiGate 400F, delivering enhanced security through advanced threat protection, improved performance with support for up to 10G policy bandwidth, high availability ensured by redundancy and failover mechanisms, and flexible deployment options with seamless SD-WAN integration. This systematic approach established a secure, scalable, and resilient network infrastructure that can efficiently meet both current and future demands.
